Great news!! Our very own wheelchair racer, Under 13 Ollie Porter has finally got his own racing chair. It was very kindly funded by the Hurworth Rogers Charitable Trust, which is a local charity.
The chair has been handmade by Bromakin in Loughborough, all specially made to fit Ollie’s measurements. As you can imagine, he’s very happy with it and has enjoyed a few training sessions in it already!
The charity will be doing some publicity with Ollie and first up is a piece for the Northern Echo, so keep you’re eyes peeled for that. Nice one, Ollie! It’s well deserved and we can’t wait to see you competing in your new pride and joy!
