On Saturday 27th April 2019, Ian Morris and Mike King headed over to Derwentwater for a dawdle of 24 miles and 4,600 ft of ascent, for the fully selfnavigated fell & trail race over some ‘ineteresting’ terrain.
Mike King was first of the two to finish, finishing in18th place in 05:22:25 with Ian Morris not far behind in 22nd place in 05:25:30 from 184 finishers.
Hilariously Mike King took some interesting navigation decisions and ran around 4 miles over the official course distance…probably getting some hill reps in!!
