Mark Haymer and Darren Gee were the only Harriers at this Sunday’s Kielder marathon. The route which follows an almost entirely off-road course goes around northern Europe’s largest man-made lake, Kielder Water, in Northumberland.
Darren finished in a superb 31st 3:18:41 whilst Mark finished in 4:08 after experiencing severe stomach pain for a large proportion of the race. Respect for finishing Mark and well done Darren!
