Sunday saw a number of Harriers head over to Hartlepool for the popular 5mile race, a run that takes athletes down the coast for 2.5mile then turn and head home. On a run that saw runners face a headwind out and a tailwind back home Dean Newton was first across the line in 25:07, fantastic performance from our second claim athlete with Tony Winward in inspired form to smash his personal best in 28:35 for 19th place.
This was another race which had strong performances throughout with first place category finishes for Louise Talman, Linda Noble, Shirley Gibson and a second place for Ian Barnes. Fantastic performances from all Harriers!
