Sunday morning saw four of our athletes head to Leeds to take on the annual Abbey dash 10km race, a race which historically is known for it’s fast course and quick times with many top athletes on show. The course is fairly flat although a couple of slight rises, which isn’t a problem as the course is predominately out and back so time can quickly made up.
David Bracken was first Harrier over the line in 40:58 but it was Emma Matthews who once again broke her personal best finishing in 45:18. Excellent performances from David Ralph and Jonathan Boyle as well as 2nd claim Dean Newton finishing in a new personal best of 32:07.
Well done all
