Darlington Harriers certainly put on a show of strength recently at the town’s annual road race. It was a real club effort across all age groups as the seniors put in some terrific performances in the 10k, and our juniors dominated the 3k race producing some tremendous results.
Podium places went to Alex Boyer and Dylan Wilson who came 2nd and 3rd in the M12-13 category; Zara Jones who was 1st in the F10-11 beating many older athletes in the process, with Savannah Tarn not far behind in 3rd; young Rowan Steel was the first M8-9 boy to cross the line with Matthew Foster following in 3rd ; Hugo Douglas-Reeves was the 2nd boy home in his first year at the M10-11 category (running for Darlington Tri today), and Mia Wetherill impressed as always, coming 1st in the F12-13 category. There were many more impressive performances from our juniors so huge congratulations to all those who took part.
