Another race to take place last Sunday was Eskdale’s Eureka, a 8mile race Castleton, near Guisborough a race with over 1500 ft of climb along the way. Results as follows
Massive shout out and respect to David Aiken who sacrificed his own race to help a pensioner who was stuck waist deep in a freezing bog . They guided the man in his 70’s to the nearest road where he was taken by the Cleveland Mountain Rescue Team.
Sometimes it’s more than just racing! Take a bow David.
