Eddie Kid Keedy back on track

On new years day we had runners competing at the Captain Cook’s Fell race. The run itself is about 5 miles long and the terrain is very mixed. It starts on the road and then onto a bridleway before starting the long steep muddy climb up to Captain Cooks Monument.

Once at the monument you descend down some steps and on a good forest road before heading down over a muddy field. Back on the road briefly before the final slog across some muddy fields to finish in the centre of Great Ayton. Some excellent results as well as the club seeing Paul Keedy back in competitive action after his accident a few months back.

Paul Lowe was first home for the club after another excellent run to finish 4th in 32:21. Well done all who ran.
