2022/2023 Club Awards

The Clubs annual celebration, awards and presentation night is back with a bang on April 14th at Darlington Dolphin Centre starting at 7pm. Please join us in The Central Hall as we celebrate the achievements of our athletes in the last year. There will be awards presented, prizes to be won and plenty of opportunity for socialising and catching up with your clubmates.

Similar to last year there are awards that requires input from you, our members. In addition to the usual performance awards and Coaches Choice awards, these open awards are for you to vote for any club member – see details below.

Please enter the name of the athlete you think should be awarded "Athletes' Athlete of The Year". This athlete is the one who you think represents the club in a positive light both in and out of club colours. And fully embraces the spirit of DHAC, someone you are proud to call a clubmate.
Please enter the name of the club member who motivates you most, who inspires, supports and encourages you and others.
Please enter the name of the club member who never fails to make training or events good fun and doesn’t take themselves too seriously and is a joy to be around.
Please enter the name of the club member/official/volunteer who you think should be shortlisted for this, someone who volunteers / officiates.
Please enter the name of the individual who you think should be recognised for their club support / achievements that may not have a great deal of recognition through the traditional methods or goes “under the radar”.
Please enter the name of the club member who you think should be shortlisted for being an inspiration.
This award is for "Extraordinary Recognition" - Please enter the name of the club member you feel has done something exceptional in the last year. This does not have to be results driven it could be an athlete who has shown strong support to a clubmate through an injury or mental health issue, an athlete who has taken their 10km time from 90 mins to 60 mins or an athlete who has set a world record. This can be absolutely anything you feel is extraordinary.
Please explain in full why you have chosen the person stated above for the Lewis Moses award (if you have entered a nomination) and why you believe they fit the criteria stated.
